What we collect

  • Member accounts: email address, password, and the business profile information you choose to publish.
  • Contact form: your name, email, and message when you write to us.
  • Subscriptions: payment and billing status through our payment provider. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers.
  • Advertising: if you arrive from an ad link, we may retain that platform’s click identifier and, after you sign up, report a conversion back to the source platform (such as Google, Meta, or Microsoft) so we can measure whether our advertising is working.

We do not sell your personal information — whether you provide it for your account, your profile, our contact form, or through an advertising link.

The member badge — what it does and doesn’t track

The Keep Small Business badge embedded on member websites is a link and image. It does not set cookies on your visitors’ browsers, does not load third-party trackers, and does not build profiles of people who view the badge.

We do count badge impressions — how many times the badge image is requested — so members can see monthly usage and so we can apply plan limits fairly. Counts are aggregated per member account; we use them for billing tiers and membership status, not for advertising or resale.

Your choices

You can update your business profile, cancel your plan, and close your account from your account settings. To request or confirm deletion of personal data, use our contact form and include “Privacy request” in your message.

California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA; submit those requests through the contact form as well.
